About Us

On our way back from watching us beat Rangers 3-0 on the 20/02/2011, a few friends discussed the possibility of setting up a new Celtic supporters club in Nottingham. The main aim was to provide members with a supporters club for people to come and feel part of a larger community, with families encouraged to attend and feel safe and enjoy the atmosphere. Also to have several coach trips to paradise with fair ticket distribution.

Then in the summer of 2011 we put the plan into action and formed Nottingham Shamrock Celtic Supports Club. We found a base at the Nottingham Irish Centre where they fully supported us and we are eternally grateful for that. The location was key, as we felt the city centre was ideal for ease to attend the matches.

Our first season as a CSC was a tremendous success and could not have been achieved without the continued support shown by our members. Even when we were 15points behind in the league, we still had the core group attending every game that was shown on tv. Obviously as everyone knows, the 15 negative points soon because a distant memory and we went on to win the title. It was a great feeling at the end of the season, not only had we won the league but I think everyone who attended party at the end of the season, felt a great sense of pride with what we had achieved.

So we look forward to being a regular CSC in the seasons to come and welcome everyone to come and join our Club.
